- Assisting in the planning and implementation of projects of Austrian Music Export, such ascooperations with showcase festivals or music trade fairs, organisation of trade missions orsongwriting camps
- Supportingthe export team with administrative tasks such as database maintenance or travelbookings
- Supporting the PR team by editing curatorial and other texts related to these activities fornewsletters, website and social media.

Your profile
- You have an academic degree in music business or another cultural field, or have equivalent practical experience.
- Have an in-depth knowledge of the international music ecosystem
- You have first-hand professional experience in the music scene
- You have excellent communication skills, self-confidence and the ability to think and work in ateam in English. German language skills are a plus, but not required, as some internalmeetings will be conducted in German
- Sensitive to diversity, inclusion and anti-discrimination issues
- You are proficient in the use of MS Off

The Austrian Music Information Centre mica - music austria is the most important source of information on contemporary Austrian music of all genres and a competent contact point for Austrian musicians and their business environment. The independent, non-profit organisation was founded in 1994 on the initiative of the Republic of Austria. Mica-music austria / Austrian Music Export strives for a diverse and socially representative teamstructure. Internship in the Department of Art & Sustainability at MuseumsQuartier Wien
- Assisting in the organization/implementation of cultural events/exhibition projects
- Assistance in the coordinationof the artist-in-residence program / artist support
- Assisting with the coordination and design of publications and printed materials
- Assisting with the conception and development of cultural projects

Your profile
- You have a university degree, respectively working experience in culturally related fields (art history, theatre studies, film and media studies, German studies, cultural management, cultural studies or a comparable field)
- A strong interest in contemporary art and culture
- Excellent English language skills (oral and written), other languages an advantage
- Knowledge of social media
- Writing skills
- Excellent IT skills (MS Office)

The MuseumsQuartier is one of the world's largest cultural areas and offers around 5 million visitors a dense program of art and culture every year. It is a place of cultural diversity, experimentatio n, action and communication. MQ E+B programs curates a diverse artistic program with installations, sculpture projects and events in the outdoor spaces as well as exhibitions and presentations in the exhibition spaces - the MQ Freiraum, the MQ Salon, the MQ Art Box and the MQ Schauräume.

Your responsibility
The grant holder will assist the festival team in the days leading up to the festivalprimarily with publiccommunications, participant communications, and will assist with social media. There will be a numberof chances to get to meet, engage with, and learn more about Vienna’s independent spaces.

Independent Space Index
Independent Space Index is a comprehensive directory of independent spaces for contemporary art in Vienna, as well as a networking channel between the listed spaces. The network was founded in 2017 with the aim of strengthening solidarity among like - minded cultural initiatives, increasing the visibility of independent artistic production by archiving its locales and facilitating their discovery, and highlighting their contribution to the Viennese art scene. Independent Space Index organizes the yearly festival of independent spaces in Vienna. This public event has been the largest joint endeavour of independent spaces in Vienna since its first edition in 2018.

Your responsibility
The fellow will assist in the preparation of the important fall exhibition openings and will gain practical insight into the final and most important phase of the realization of an exhibition production at Vienna’s leading exhibition space for contemporary art
Kunsthalle Wien
Kunsthalle Wien is dedicated to art and its relationship to social change. It produces exhibitions, researches art practices, and supports local and international artists. It bases its knowledge of international contemporary art in and for Vienna and advocates the usefulness of artistic thinking in the wider public sphere. Since its opening in 1992 - originally as a makeshift structure in the form of a container, today with locations in the MuseumsQuartier and on Karlsplatz - Kunsthalle Wien has presented national a nd international contemporary art as an urban institution. As such, it is both a place for established art and a forum for discussing current social issues and future developments.

Your responsibility
The grant holder will be getting practical insight in preparing a large community based project for a new metro station and supporting the curatorial and outreach team—particulary with regard to researching of target groups, building up relationships with local communities, assisting in the coordination and communication for project-related participatory workshops. Fluent English is required, German is optional

The grant is aimed at curators who work in public space respectively whose central interest lies in this social space and the development of new perspectives such as innovative models from participatory or collaborative formats to strategies of discursive action.

KÖR Kunst im öffentlichen Raum Wien (Public Art Vienna) is committed to activating the city of Vienna’s public space with permanent or temporary art projects. Founded in 2004 by the administrative units Culture, City Planning and Housing of the City of Vienna, the institution manages art projects, commissions artists, organizes competitions for projects in public space and allots subsidies to artists or partner organizations. Its endeavors are aimed at strengthening the identity oft he city and of individual neighborhoods in terms of contemporaneity and at reviving public space as an agora–a place of sociopolitical and cultural discussion.
KÖR Wien does understand public art as an offer to engage with aesthetical contents and forward-looking artistic approaches throughout the public. As constantly reconsidering the changing relationship between art, society, and urban space KÖR Wien sees its task in presenting artistic positions that explore the current situation of the city, its inhabitants, and its spaces. Supporting the development of new works of art, it strives to make an active contribution to the shaping of urban life.
