FOCUS INTERNATIONAL is a new program of the Austrian Federal Ministry for Housing, Arts, Culture, Media and Sport (BMWKMS). With FOCUS INTERNATIONAL, the BMWKMS focuses on a specific cooperation country in terms of content and cultural policy for a period of three years.

The Cultural Work Trainee Program of the Austrian Federal Ministry for Housing, Arts, Culture, Media and Sport at MuseumsQuartier Vienna supports in 2025 six cultural workers/artists from Kosovo and from South Africa each to participate in a 2-month internship at a major art institution in Vienna.
Apart from the internship, which is the central part of the program, the residents will be provided a personal mentoring and additionally will be supported by the team of MuseumsQuartier.
