FOCUS INTERNATIONAL is a new program of the Austrian Federal Ministry for Arts, Culture, the Civil Service and Sport (BMKOES). With FOCUS INTERNATIONAL, the BMKOES focuses on a specific cooperation country in terms of content and cultural policy for a period of three years.

The Cultural Work Trainee Program of the Austrian Federal Ministry for Arts, Culture, the Civil Service and Sport at MuseumsQuartier Vienna supports in 2025 six cultural workers/artists from Kosovo and from South Africa each to participate in a 2-month internship at a major art institution in Vienna.
Apart from the internship, which is the central part of the program, the residents will be provided a personal mentoring and additionally will be supported by the team of MuseumsQuartier.
